ABOUT GRÁINNE CARR
WHY ME?
I am a gifted and qualified coach and facilitator, with more than 25 years experience in managerial roles as a backdrop to my work. I have worked as Head of Client Services, engaging at the highest levels with global brands such as AXA, Zurich, RSA and Aviva to enhance mutual customer experience and business growth. Internally within organisations, I have improved customer and staff experience, increased performance and transformed operational effectiveness.
I am deeply insightful and I ask the key questions to elicit answers and ultimately, the solutions that are necessary to make real change possible. Against this backdrop I have become a master at sowing seeds for positive transformation. I am extensively experienced in supporting people who wish to develop personal strategies to achieve focused commitment to positive change in both their professional and personal lives.
I use my skills and vast experience to assist the individual in both a business and personal context, affecting change in their attitudes and behaviours, allowing them to move clearly and confidently towards their goals.
I have helped people find the most useful route to redefining their career goals and strategies, define and deliver game changing business operational restructuring, write their book, make the big presentation, prepare for an interview, improve work and personal relationships, have that challenging conversation, get that promotion, get that contract and to learn how to maintain strong personal and professional boundaries.
I have over 20 years’ experience designing and delivering talks, trainings and workshops. My recent focus is on producing content to facilitate teaching the concept of consent and how to define personal and professional boundaries as founder of the organisation Consent Matters Ireland.
I provide clients with a hugely useful selection of tools and supports to use on their pathway to success. These are based on my qualifications and experience incorporating NLP, Mindfulness, Somatic Psychology, Non-Violent Communication, Consent and Boundaries, Radical Honesty and Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace. I have successfully coached hundreds of people, using a holistic approach that makes the most of my skill set and focuses on my client as a whole person, supporting people through personal and professional challenges and onwards towards growth and success.
In a voluntary capacity I have worked as a Support Group Facilitator for Aware Sligo, supporting people with depression and anxiety and I am member of the Cork Environmental Forum.
I have a huge affinity for nature, animals and a passion for the world to be a kinder more caring place for all. I am beyond happy to live in beautiful West Cork. If you have a dog and I meet you both out on a walk you have been warned, I may spend more time talking to your dog than I do with you.
